Hola! Royal Solaris Caribe * Scuba Diving * Chichen Itza Bruce and I spent a wonderful, if a bit windy, vacation in beautiful Cancun in October 1998. We stayed at a beautiful all-inclusive resort called Royale Solaris Caribe, except for three dismal days at the extremely disappointing Costa Real. We got in a day of fabulous diving, spent a day exploring the Mayan ruins at Chichen Itza, spent a wet day in Cancun shopping, and almost made it to Cozumel for some more diving. But then nature stepped in with this nasty little squall called Hurricane Mitch. So, nothing to do except relax! Oh, Well!
